Too Soon

Chapter 13

They were in the office for about an hour and a half explaining everything and taking pictures for the wall. Safaree and Shad had been suspended from the mall for 6 months. Security let Nicki and SB go first then Shad so they wouldn’t cause any farther problems. When they got in the car they were both silent and Nicki was rubbing her back.

“Look I’m sorry Nic” Safaree began

“I know you were only helping me but next ti-” she grunted as she turned to the side to stretch her back. Safaree noticed this and glanced her way.

“You Ok?” he asked with concern

“Yeah I’m good I just died a little bit when you elbowed me in my stomach” she said with sarcasm

“I’m sorry Nic! I didn’t know I hit you! I soooo sorry!!”

“I know Faree. But you should have listened to me I told you to stop and you didn’t.”

“I’m sorry he just irks me soo bad. I just lose it when I see him.”

“Well you cant be doin that every time you run into him because I’m sure that wasn’t the last time we are gonna run into him now that he lives here.”

“Yeah that’s true next time we see him I’ll just ignore him.”

“Thank you Faree.”

“Do you want me to get you something for your stomach? Some ice or something?”

“Yeah, you could go buy a heating pad”

“Ok I’ll do that but why are you rubbing your back?”

“Oh yeah I just got pushed into some tables no biggie” once again with sarcasm

“Damn Nic you woulda thought you were the one in the fight” he said laughing

“It’s not funny! That’s why you got a busted lip”

“Touché” he said while parking the car at Wal-Mart and getting out to get the heating pads “I guess I’ll get two of them”

“You do that” once he was gone she lifted up her shirt to see the damage. She saw a huge blue, purple and green bruise forming. “Damn I really bruise too easily” 10 mins later SB got back in the car with one extra bag then he should have.

“I told you to go get heating pads and you come out with extra shit”

“Hey Hey now it’s something you’ll like. Just a way to say sorry for elbowing you”

“Oh” she looks in the bag and sees a whole 4 seasons of Judge Judy!! “THANKS! Faree!! Apology accepted!”

“haha you’re welcome Nic”

They finally got back to the house and everyone was in the game room but as soon as they heard the alarm signaling that a door had opened they all came flying to the door to see what was up with Nicki and Safaree.

“So we heard about what happened at the mall! Tell me everything!” said Shanell

“You used to date Bow Wow? Didn’t he get some girl pregnant?” asked Trina

“Um can I tell you guys about it later? I’m gonna go up stairs and rest”

“Oh yeah 40 told me you got a lil beat up too. He said he helped you. You ok?” asked Drake helping her to her room she just nodded

“Here I’ll help you Safaree” Said Shanell leading him to the bathroom

“and once again I’m alone’ said Trina shaking her head and walking back to the game room with Twist.

Once Nicki and Drake made it up to her room she thanked him hinting for him to leave but he didn’t.

“You should lay down I’ll massage your back”

“I don’t really…” Drake cut her off

“Its ok I won’t do anything you don’t want me to do” he said leading her to the bed and she laid down with one heating pad under her stomach and Drake lifted up her shirt and put the other on her back.

“Damn Nicki you bruise really bad” he said while starting to massage her back

“Yeah I know” she replied in a low whisper and a soft moan escaped her lips when she felt his lips on her shoulder blade kissing down her back.

“Not this again” she thought to herself knowing this is NOT what she needed with all the confusion today and then the fact that she’s only known Drake for like few days. Not cool! She felt his hands traveling down to her pants she had to stop this now. Just as she was about to tell him to stop the door to her bedroom opened and all she heard was “WHAT THE HELL!”
