Sorry this is pretty short I couldn’t think of anything really and I rewrote this 4 times ~_~ but I will try to make it up in the next chapter. I’ve got a couple of tricks up my sleeves ;)
Chapter 10
“Um I have to go to the bathroom!” Nicki said getting up abruptly “Uh ok” Drake said back looking at her funny as Nicki made her way to the bathroom rambling to herself.
“What is he doing here he supposed to be in New York!” What am I gonna do!?” “If he comes to talk to me I might fall apart…I know I still have feelings for him I'm gonna give in but NO!” I cant…I wont! I still remember what he did to me…ok let me just fix myself and go back out like everything is ok.” She freshened up a little and went back to the dinner with Drake.
“Sorry I just had to pee…really…bad…” Nicki trailed on
Drake laughs “that’s ok. Nature call everyone does it”
“haha yeah” Nicki said nervously glancing around the restaurant Drake noticed this and looked around too
“Um you good Nicki?”
“Oh yeah I'm good sorry just making sure no other girls are looking at you” she signed of relief and sat down because she didn’t see “him” anywhere.
“So yeah anyway what were we talking about?”
“Oh yeah…” Drake began
They continued on their conversation and the date was going really really well and Nicki’s really getting to know Drake and he’s really getting to know her better. Then they realize time has gotten away from the them and they finish up their drinks and Drake pays and him being the big baller he is leaves a $50 tip.
“Now is that necessary?” laughs Nicki
“What?” Drake replies acting dumb
“The $50 tip”
“Oh that. That’s just chump change”
“Well imma need some of that ‘chump change’ where were you when I was working at Red Lobster?”
They both laugh and head out of the restaurant hand in hand like this isn’t the first date and they’ve been doing it forever.
Drake gets his keys from the valet and they head on back to “YM World”
“Well I had fun tonight” Drake said while walking Nicki up to her room in a surprisingly quite house. Everyone else must be out at parties giving them the house unless just in case I guess. As if!
“Yeah it was a lot of fun. It was nice actually getting to know you without anyone else around.”
“Yeah we should def do it again soon. Cause you know I’m the gyal dem suga”
“Oh word? You da gyal dem suga?”
“Yeah haha”
“Well yuh dun know big up yaself ya understand bless up”
They both fall out laughing the Drake stops abruptly and looks Nicki dead in the eyes
“You know you’re a really cool girl”
“Well what can I say the kid gotta…” but she was cut short when his lips were on hers. It wasn’t your typical first date kiss it was like a kiss full of passion and want and need and it’s like they’d known each other forever. Nicki pulled away first not because she didn’t like it. The feeling just surprised her but boy did she want more. They both just stood there staring at each other like two idiots with who knows what going through their minds.
“Well I had a lot of fun tonight goodnight Drizzy” Nicki said turning around to her door a little clumsily.
“Goodnight Nicki”
They both went their respective ways and got ready for bed. But as Nicki was getting in bed she couldn’t stop thinking about ‘him’.
“I gave him my all and then he just disrespected me like that.” She thought to herself
“Shad Gregory Moss I vow to NEVER go back to him!”
