Too Fast

Chapter 14

Drake jumped off Nicki’s bed so quick and she hopped up on the bed 2 times his pace.

“TWIST DON’T YOU KNOW HOW TO KNOCK!?” Drake yelled out of embarrassment

“Hehe you two was about to get it innnn! I see you Drizzy!”

“Twist get out.” Drake said

“Ok imma let you two handle ya business. But Wayne wanted me to come tell the Barbie that we havin a party tonight and he just wanted to make sure she was up to it”

“Um yeah ok I’m up for it” Nicki said lowly, she was still embarrassed

“Alight! I’ll tell him! Now handle ya business Drizzy and let me know later” he said slowly closing the door watching them. Once he was gone they both looked at each other and Drake started to apologize to Nicki he knew she wasn’t that type of girl and he wasn’t that type of guy he just got carried away but she stopped him

“It’s ok I'm sorry too Drake I didn’t mean to lead you on”

“I'm really sorry Nicki I don't want this to mess anything up with us or make you feel like I was using you and…”
“No its ok its just that I haven’t known you that long and I’m still trying to figure some things out and I’m not ready for any of that stuff right now. Ya know?”

“Yeah I feel ya. Ok just let me know if you need anything. Ok?”

“Ok I will. And please tell Twist not to say anything.” Once he left she sighed she didn’t know what was going on she just needed some time to get her thoughts and self together. She decided to call Kandi, that’s what she needed a girl to talk to better yet her best friend.

After talking to Kandi for a good 3 hours she went downstairs to hang out with everyone else.

“How’s your back and stomach Nic?” asked Safaree

“Its better those heating pads actually work and the bruises will fade in a bit” she goes to sit down with Trina and Shanell

“Ok so you ready to tell us what happened?” asked Shanell

“Yeah and what’s your history with Bow Wow” added Trina

“Ok I guess I’ll start with Bow Wow. When I was little me and Shad were neighbors like we grew up together he’s two years younger than me but we met when I moved to NY when I was three. His mom worked with my mom so we always had play dates and stuff and we went to school together and when he was 9 he started rapping and so we would make up these little raps together it was really cute. He was smart too so he skipped 1^st grade and he was only a grade behind me and when we got to high school things started to get serious and we started dating. Like I gave him my all he was my first everything and I was his or at least I thought I was. We dated after we graduated too he graduated early so he could graduate with me. We dated all the way till I was 23 he was 21 and then I found out he was sleepin behind my back with my ex best friend Viola and he got her pregnant.” Nicki was on the verge of tears but was holding them back “That hurt me really bad because he was everything to me and more. I even thought I was gonna go to hell for sleeping with him and not being married. My mom always told me that. And Viola she was my best friend and she did that too me. We haven’t really talked since and the baby is almost 2 now. And now for some reason Shad is here in ATL he said he wants to try and fix things with me but I’m not gonna fall for it. He showed up at the mall today and he was at the restaurant when I went out with Drake. But he came over and talked to me today and Safaree didn’t like this because he knows all of what happened between us and they started to argue and then they started fighting and got suspended from the mall. And that’s everything.”

“Damn you’ve had some shit in your life huh” said Trina

“Yeah from leaving your home country to a drug addicted father to cheating boyfriends getting your best friend pregnant.” Added Shanell

“How’d you know about my father?” asked Nicki

“Oh SB told me”

“Oh well what’s this party tonight for?”

“It’s nothing special. Just Wayne has these parties he throws like every 2 weeks at a club in Midtown tonight it’s at Opera” explained Trina

“Oh who all comes?”

“Like everyone Lauren London is ALWAYS at Wayne’s events I think they have something going on. Then Tiny and Toya usually come out, sometimes Kim, Eve, Keri Hilson, Ciara, India Arie, Monica, Raven, Kelly, Big Boi, ya know the works” laughed Shanell

“Wow that’s a lot of people. Good thing I went shopping today.”

“Yeah and how are you and our boy Drizzy? What’s going on with him?”

“Why what did you hear!?” Nicki said glancing at Twist who was laughing minding his own business

“Well nothing yet that’s why we’re asking duh lol”

“Oh haha umm ya know he’s a really sweet guy and he’s cool…”

“But…?” led on Trina

“But I'm still trying to figure things out so I'm not sure I really want a boyfriend or anything right now”

“Oh ok we see. What about Safaree…?” asked Shanell

“What about him?”

“Is he seeing anyone? Or do you guys have anything going on?”

“Well I don’t know you’ll have to ask him about that. So what are you guys wearing to the party?” she said changing the subject really fast.

“Hmmm we aren’t sure yet but since you just bought a whole bunch of new clothes why not share?” Trina suggested and they all started laughing

“Ok I guess I can do that lets go look in my closet then” the three of them headed to Nicki’s room. Laughing and talking for 3 hours they finally settled on what they were gonna wear

They got dressed and did their make up and hair and were ready to hit the club even though it was only 11 p.m they had to be there kinda early since they were part of the hosting party so they all went downstairs all the guys were already ready and SB had managed to cover up his busted lip with some make up which made Nicki laugh. They all went outside to the SUV’s and headed to the party. It was fun and soooo live Nicki got pictures with everyone she could possibly get near.

She was having a blast only drinking a little bit of Rosé/Rosay since she really didn’t drink that much but she liked this. She was scanning the crowd just looking around then her eyes stopped and she saw Shad again. And she also saw SB and Drake headed that way. All hell was about to break loose.
